AWS Cloud Engineer

A regional industry organisation in the resources sector is looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join their internal cloud platform team based in Perth. You will be responsible for designing, provisioning and supporting secure and highly available AWS environments. Day-to-day work includes managing VPCs, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch and related services, implementing Infrastructure as Code, supporting application teams with cloud best practices, and participating in incident response and continuous improvement. Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in a production environment, solid Linux and networking fundamentals, and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. Scripting ability (Python or Bash) and familiarity with monitoring and logging tools are important. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification is expected; higher-level certifications are a plus. This is a permanent role offering a salary of $130,000 – $155,000 + super, hybrid working, and the chance to build cloud capability in a stable and growing organisation.
