Junior AWS Solutions Architect

A specialist cloud consultancy is looking for a Junior AWS Solutions Architect to join their Melbourne team and accelerate their career in cloud architecture. You will support senior architects in client engagements by contributing to architecture designs, producing documentation and diagrams, assisting with proof-of-concepts, preparing workshop materials and helping with solution validation. Over time you will take on increasing ownership of smaller design packages and client interactions. Training and certification support is provided. We are looking for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering or systems roles, plus a genuine interest in architecture. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is required (or must be obtained within the first 3 months). Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a consulting environment are essential. This is an excellent stepping-stone role offering a salary of $110,000 – $130,000 + super, structured mentoring, and clear progression toward senior architect positions.
