DevOps Engineer – AWS

A high-growth technology company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their platform team in Sydney and help scale their AWS environment. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform), container orchestration (ECS or EKS), monitoring and alerting, and security controls. You will work closely with development teams to improve deployment frequency, reliability and developer experience. On-call participation is expected on a shared roster. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering role with strong hands-on AWS experience. Proficiency with Terraform, GitHub Actions or similar CI tools, Docker, and at least one scripting language (Python or Bash) is required. Experience with Kubernetes, observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and security best practices is highly regarded. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect certification is preferred. The role offers a competitive salary of $145,000 – $175,000 + super, hybrid working, and the opportunity to shape the platform that underpins a rapidly growing product.
