IT Project Engineer

A professional services firm is looking for an IT Project Engineer to take ownership of technical delivery on infrastructure and cloud migration projects for their clients across Sydney. You will work alongside project managers and architects to plan, coordinate and execute technical work packages. This includes vendor management, technical design validation, implementation oversight, testing coordination and handover to operations. Projects typically involve AWS migrations, network upgrades, identity modernisation and hybrid infrastructure builds. We need someone with 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles, plus demonstrated project delivery experience. Strong technical knowledge of AWS, networking, Windows/Linux servers and identity systems is required. Experience with project tools (Jira, MS Project or similar) and formal methodologies (PRINCE2 or Agile) is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. This role offers a package of $140,000 – $165,000 + super + bonus, hybrid working, and exposure to a wide variety of client environments.
