QA Automation Engineer

A software services company is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to improve release confidence across a suite of customer-facing web products. You will partner with developers and product teams to define quality strategies, automate critical journeys and make test results useful in day-to-day delivery decisions. You will develop and maintain browser and API tests, contribute to CI pipelines, investigate production issues and support pragmatic improvements to test data and environments. The team works with TypeScript, Playwright, REST APIs and GitHub Actions. Candidates should have 3+ years of quality engineering or test automation experience, confidence writing maintainable automated tests, and a collaborative approach to quality. Experience with Playwright, Cypress, API testing and modern CI/CD workflows is highly regarded. The position offers $115,000 – $145,000 + super, hybrid working in Adelaide and the opportunity to establish quality engineering standards across a growing team.
